i said paul broke his and had the same problem as you. i was the person that fixed it for paul
if you havent attemped to drill through them to upgrade sparker cable then the problem could be corrosion.
untwist the locking connector and have a look to see id there is any corrosion or bent connections. another possible cause could be the wire from the doors going into the fuse box also look at the wires in the doors and check that they havent rubbed on anything.
a basic multimeter will be able to check the connections
