Technical fan switch help

i had my 20vt for a few weeks now and have just noticed that the fan deosnt seem to come on , where is the switch located i noticed a resistor type switch on top of the rad with the two wires that go to the fan plugged into it but one is broken is this something to do with it

get it sorted ASAP, as Coupes REALLY don't like to be overheated

the wire is broken off where the second plug plugs into can i not just solider it back in place
