On my '99 Multipla 1.6 ELX (airco) - which is left-hand-drive - I've noticed a very faint noise from somewhere inside the heater when the car is being driven i.e. ignition on.
I'm convinced that it's too regular to be a living creature
It seems to issue from within the dashboard / heater-assembly above the right-hand-side footwell, every 15 seconds or so, a very soft click as if something is oscillating between two positions i.e. from left to right or up to down, so two movements each time.
I visualise a little flap with soft or brush-like edges, opening and closing, or trying to, which is what worries me because this happens whenever the car is being used. So hundreds of times on a long journey. :bang:
Heater and airco work normally.
Silence when the ignition is switched off.
Does anyone recognise this weirdness? Is anyone familiar with the intimate regions of the heater assembly?
Thanks for your ideas! :worship:
