Erm, not exactly. Monolith developed the game, Sierra published it, the publishers basically fund it all and the developers are the ones with the talent

There's a good reason why I had to straighten out that particular statement about Sierra though, they always get the credit for the games.

Yes there was the odd brown undies moment playing fear. But still a cracking game. And looks good enough to eat on my current setup!

yeah that part scares the hell out of ya. its like when you see flashes and things (images of ghosts, unexplained shadows and things). it makes you shoot them.

if it was just killing those army guys the game would be excellent. the suspense in it though. makes it frightening as well. like when a you knock a can and it makes a noise or something it makes your hair bristle and stand on end. lol




that girl in it she reminds me of the girl out of the ring

Got to a weird bit the other day, room caugght fire, strange noises, and ghosties appeared. Along with that girl. Eerie music as well. Had the DTS right up. My missus was scared. More the music and atmosphere I think.

It's a simple case of little girls in ghostly forms (or children of either genre) having a certain innocents about them so the suggestion of them being some kind of dead thing is all the more disturbing and always has been. The original oriental film was more likely an inspiration.

the silent hill movie was really bad though pal. really really bad.

whats the deal with those little ant bug creature things come on. i'd just step on them and they go squish. as for that big ghost thing shoot it with a gun and then bye bye ghost thing

me and a mate played it at night, after eating very large quantities of pizza hut pizza and drink.

then play it in teh early hours in a blacked out room, even just watching someone else play scares the crp out ofyou.


its like, yeah, i'm just gonna go down this ladder, now turn round, and there should be a nice empty boardwalk, then WTHOLY MF GOD is that, (girl), gone again.
