Tom, I have an eagle kit car with four speed 1.6 pinto engine, the engine is pretty ropey, all the shocks are goosed and it does need a bit of work

Now the following item is on sale on ebay and my local mechanic reckons he can take all my old stuff off and replace it with this stuff for£300 tops, maybe less.

What do you reckon?

Apart from some wiring fun, an EFI fuel pump and a fuel return line it should work.

And some new shocks

Am very very tempted, the auction is over tommorow and cant see the price going up much more...........touch wood

Budget at least the same again for the pump and wiring changes.

One reason I hate injection engines...

Carbs are easy.. fuel in the float chamber, volts to the coil, turn it over!

Bloody hell!!!!! Didnt realise it would be that much more. Come to think of it, maybe I didnt tell the mechanic which engine it was, cause normally he is pretty spot on with his estimates

New fuel pump could be £70+. Might be worth getting a quick price first.

Still darn cheap lump.
