Paul, just been speakin to one of the lads at work, i mentioned that i couldn't get all of the bolts off last night, he thinks one of the bolts (the one i can't get off which is the one in the middle of the rear seat backs) might be a torx?

is this right?

the others seemed to be allen key?

I'm sure its an allan key fitment, as i put the seat belts in my car in order. I didn't understand why the center belt was attached to one side.

if a star shape then year torx, hellfrauds sell `em individual for an 1/2 socket

@everyone else! :) this thread was addressed to me so butt out!lol... :)

Its been a while when i did it. So it could of been. My mistake.

oops lol!

:) last night i took a propper look at the other bolts that i had got out of the back seats and yeah lol they are all torx - but one of my allen keys fit it perfectly :)
the one in the middle definately looked different... anyway

got a torx set and it wasn't strong enough to undo it, so my dad got the little bugger out! took us about 45 mins cos we rounded it off quite badly - but it's out!

not long now and it'll be in :)

Re: oops lol!

i buggered my first t45 torx bit trying to take the rear backrest out... i found a set for £7, and it had a t47 bit in it... what an odd fitment i though, but it fitted perfectly. better than the 75 i screwed up. never fopund the t47 bit on its own though, and the guy in my local spares shop reckoned i could ncely ask the manufacturer, but that it wasn't a 'normal' size :s
