Tesco do them now with various levels of cover. Seem to cover a lot

Unless you get a big bill then they aren't worth it though as little things are cheaper to just pay up. The things most likely to go wrong on a 4 yar old car are probably wear and tare anyway (clutch, exhaust etc)

I was gonna say tesco aswell. My dads just taken one out on one of his cars and it covers quite a bit for £400ish.
just done tesco quote & its £228
The Full Monty for my Mjet at Tesco comes out at £339!, looks like a toss up between Tesco and Warrantywise.
Just need to check the hourly Labour rate at my Dealers., I've got until September anyway.
BTW W***anty D**ect really peed me of , literally bombarding me with emails, written quotes and phone calls even after I specifically asked them not to bother me as September was a way away and in fact I would contact them if and when I was ready.
Took a snotty email to put them off, and after that still had another written quote!
FFS guys can't you take no for an answer????:bang:

I'm with Warrenty direct, I pay £330 for the Extra care policy, This includes Ware and tare such as clutch stc. Covers near enough everything you can think of, they also chucked in Emissions and airbag cover worth £40 because i was a previous customer.
They are really good and will pay out, they paid out nearly £5k for repairs on my Dads old Vx Signum.

yes but not all of us have the knowledge to do our own labour (which makes up a big chunk of repair bills)just done tesco quote & its £228

Just got a quote from them on the internet, ExtraCare £431.68 Network garage, £518.02
franchised dealer! That's a lot more than £330, are you sure you are being charged only £330?georgios1976

An update to my previous post.
I received a call from Warranty Direct and negotiated the price down to £339 for network dealer (so long as their labour is £56+VAT) with an Excess of £50 per claim. Overall, very pleased, I will proceed with a purchase over the next few days. :idea: Don't you just love it when you get a massive discount?
