500 (USA) Export Problems

I am the new proud owner of a 1972 Fiat 500. That's the good news. The bad news is that I am in the US and the car is still stuck in Italy. The current problem is that the car needs an EORI number before it can be exported. This process was sent to customs on March 2. It is still not granted.

I have been told that this should only take a day or two. I have sent two emails to customs asking for information, but its just like not sending them anything: No response.

Does anyone know how to speed this process up?

What language did you use in email?

My first email was English.

The second email was English and Italian. ( I got smarter after the first one.)
