Guys, summer is here and I have a Cinquecento Sporting. Its temperature is exceeding more the 90 degress and it exceeds more when I am stack in traffic! When I drive then it goes down but not on 90. The thing is that when it exceeds over 90 the fan goes on but stops after 30 seconds and then goes on after a minute. The niddle still doesnt go back down to 90. The Heater Matrix is disconected for now but will soon back on. I dont think that it is normal. The niddle never came on the red sector but I just want to be safe. For example my friend has a Punto 60 and it always stay on 90 (middle of the gauge) and I got more concerned about it now. If there's anything which I can do to just make it stay on 90 please tell me.

Thanks in advance.

Bend the needle?

Its only a gauge, not an instrument.

If it doesn't go into the red, its not a problem, yet.

Flush the system at the same time as you connect the matrix, make sure the matrix isn't leaking.

Refill with correct fresh coolant.

For safety, wire in a remote switch for the fan.

Cheers

:yeahthat: or maybe try putting in a thermostat that opens at a slightly lower temperature

That sounds good. Fitting in a thermostat which opens at a lower temperature. The thing is where can I find one to buy it. The coolant which I have at the moment is Paraful and I presume that its the correct one! We will see how it goes then.

Thanks for the helps once again.
