Nice video (y)

I remember the early days of gaming, on a ZX80 then ZX81 - Binatone with pong - then Atari and Activision, before going to a Speccy 48k [with VTX5000 modem :D] - then onto an Amiga 500.....

Little vid about the evolution of games.

And does anyone know what the racing game is at the end? Looks pretty smart.

I feel old... I recognise ALL the first generation video games but not the later ones

And that first basket ball game (Atari 2600 VCS) looks so baaaaaaaaad! I remember playing that as well! Amazing how the graphics have gone from looking like a 2 year old drew them to almost as if you're watching live on TV.

No idea what the very last driving game is, though it looks like it has a Paris/ Dakar theme. The first one in black and white is Atari's Night Driver. I still have that on cartridge for the 2600, of which I have about four consoles having just found them in a loft clearout! I also have a 2600 emulator for my PC and just about every game available on shadow roms. Real memory lane stuff!

Can't belive some of the games they missed out there!
Where was Chuckie egg or ATV!!

And William's Defender, Sega's Space Harrier, House of the Dead from the arcades! All landmark games too.

Missing Dropzone from the C64, and Jet Pack from the Speccy.

Don't forget Tetris, which is STILL around today in some form or another!
