Technical Esp problem

Hi new to this but hi
My daughter has just brought a fiat 500 by diesel and on the way home from garage the ESP warning lights came on ( A TRANGLE WITH A THINK SYMBOL IN MIDDLE ) can someone please tell me if this is a serious fault or a easy fix need to get information before talking to garage Thankyou

This light is a general warning light. Checking all bulbs work is the easiest thing to check and eliminate. If youve only just bought it the obvious thing would be talk to the place that sold it. They are obligated to fix it and make it roadworthy. Daytime driving lights and number plate lights are sometimes the cause.

It don’t come on straight away after about ten minute driving but when the triangle light come on so does the start /stop light come on

This sounds like the tailgate wiring problem starting. There is a kit available to fix this. Fo a garage its a simple check and simple fix if necessary. Ihope its quickly resolved.
