Technical Error P0235 on a 1.6 Petrol

Hi Guys,
As the title says.
Searched up and down and finding this code is related to diesel cars with turbo's. Can anybody advise for this code on a 1.6 petrol.

1: P0235 - Boost Pressure (1)
Boost Pressure sensor A circuit malfunction

READING PARAMETERS:
Misfires (2): Awaiting Validation. (Is this x2 misfires or cyclinder 2 has had misfires ?)

Car is fine at the moment but has run poor for a very short time on 2 occations which i'm putting down to the 2 misfires.
Would this boost pressure fault be linked to the misfires ?
I did get the engine management light on but it's since cleared it's self.

I have cleaed all codes and waiting for the fault to re occur at the moment.

I might be way off, maybe someone will correct me if i am. I also have 1.6 petrol. Had problem while driving engine light came on, stopped the car. Waited like 5mins, called to nearby garage, started the car again and i wasnt able to rev. I was able to push gas pedal to max, but nothing happened. After few times i turned off/on car i seemed to be able to drive.
Garage told me the problem was with boost/vacuum, because mine was 1.6 petrol, the problem was with vacuum, MAP sensor,
The problem was fixed after MAP sensor was washed. Told me if this problem comes again, most likely i will need to replace MAP sensor with new one.

Maybe your problem is similar to mine? Hope this helps you.

I'd be checking those (crap) coils first for the misfire.

There is a software update for the stilo MAP sensor/TB.
