Is it possible to turn down the error warning noise, we keep getting the Humidity in Diesel Filter warning and the bloody beeps are doing my head in.

I've tried turning the car on and off 3 times whilst it goes through its checks, but as soon as I switch it on, beep beep beep beep which can go off every 10 seconds.

It a newish filter, how often should these be changed?

#$%&**!!!

My advice would be to change the fuel filter to see if it makes any difference. If not then it gets more complicated but i should take this one step at a time if i were you. There is a lot of humid diesel about at the moment which could have something to do with all the b****y rain we have been having.
Regards
Stephen

If you haven't done it already, drain of the filter bowl, just to check there's no water in it. The sender is famous for giving false positives. Try a liberal squirt on connectors for the sender on the filter housing. I had this problem with mine a couple of years ago and cleaning the connectors cured it.

The buzzer volume can be changed through the dash settings.

I'll try and give it a drain, what do I squirt it with, wd40? Does the filter bowl have a drain valve or do I need to remove bits and pieces? If that doesn't work, I'll look at replacing it.

There's a drain at the bottom of it, on mine anyway. I've read other comments on here saying there isn't, so your mileage may vary, as they say.

Yes, WD40 would work well for cleaning the connections.
