Technical Error Code PO380

HI,

Had a few problems with my 01Multipla JTD recently,managd to resolve with a new MAF sensor and RPM sensor, however there seems to be one which the car has had for a while and I can't find a fix for.. Diagnostic machine gives code PO380 - Glowplug/Heater Circuit "A" Malfunction. I have had the glow plugs replaced but the error code remains along with flashing coil light after engine has started, doesn't seem to cause any problem just annoying, Any Ideas?

Have you checked the 30 Amp fuse and timing relay? I've forgotten the numbers but they are in, or adjacent to, the fuse box on the passenger side of the engine bay!

Thanks Peat, I have checked the fuses and all seem ok, will check the relay next, any idea which one it is?

relay is big glowplug control unit mounted normally on bulkhead, can't miss it

It will probably have fairly beefy cables coming off it as well that will run to the glowplugs. Until we get freezing weather it will be hard to say if it is working or not.
