Long story short ( newly aquired car not ran for 8 months and now been dropped to me and now trying to figure it out

However the code scanner won’t read all the modules, tried diffrent code scans and not sure where the issue may lie.

Many on Forum use a full version of MES on tablet using Windows 10-11 etc. They can advise best choices.
Personally I use MaxiEcu Scan tool as it would work for a Fiat Scudo with the Peugeot 2.0 engine. Also it had the benefit of being able to add extra manufacturers vehicles if you don't only do Fiats, for around £30 a time. I also had the advantage of using a friends Snap On professional tool if needed.:)
If you go on Gendans website and look up MES it will tell you what it covers.
Of course difficult to invest in more tools if only for a one off "freemans" job.;)

Its very a old system.
Which modules are you wanting to access?
Is car petrol or diesel ?
What year is it?
