Grande Punto Enos' Orange GP Sporting

Introduction

Now then everyone :)

Been on the forum a while now and apart from asking a few standard questions ive not really contributed much so i guess ill start my own build thread :)

The car is a 2006 Carribbean Orange 1.4 16v Sporting

List of mods ive bought for her- (Will update as i go along)

- 12" Boston Sub w/ Alpine Amp
- Eibach Sportlines
- Beesting Aerial
- Forge Underbody Braces
- Vinyl'd Front Grill
- 3rd Brake Light 'Punto' Cover
- GSR Induction Kit

So here's how i bought the car on the day i got her (Old owners plates)

Then i bought another set of alloys for the car after skidding on black ice and buckling one alloy on the kerb :(
They are the Evo Sporting alloys.

Next thing i did was get rid of the horrible yellow tint from the lights-

Team HEKO Wind Deflectors-

Then when i needed my brake pads changing i opted for the upgraded Greenstuff pads with the EBC front grooved discs-

I ran the car like this for a few months then i had a fantastic oppurtunity to buy these lovely RAYS alloys replicas and considering i was going to get the Evo alloys sprayed black, i spent the money on buying some already black alloys instead! :)

Then i ordered some orange rim tape along with my spigot rings, gave them a bit of a clean up and this is how they are right now-

These are going to go on when i finally pull my finger out and fit my Eibach Sportline springs-

Oh and also these came in the post today

Im sure most people know but they're Forge underbody braces.

So yeah, thats how the car stands atm- should be fitting my springs and the new alloys within the next week or 2 then ill have the car looking almost exactly how i want minus a Cupra Splitter & Black front headlights and also need to get round and vinyl my front bumper at some point!

All comments welcome,

- Enos :)

I'm not fitting them on mine, never got round to it but I took them off a Grande Punto Active in the first place. They're a bit tricky to fit but you can do it!

very tidy mate forging the underbody bit extreme like but why not ,rays are cool ,im liking the look already mate good job

Aqui no Brasil não temos o Punto duas portas! O seu é sensacional, laranja ainda!

Parabéns!

Here in Brazil we do not have the two-door Punto! His is sensational, even orange!

Congratulations!

99% of the forum speaks English on the forum mate :) Nice to have overseas contributions though, welcome!

I have been looking everywhere for the alloys you have on your's at the moment, but no where seems to sell them! In love with multi-spoked wheels for my punto at the moment, but there aren't many others that i feel that suits a grande punto!

UPDATE :)

Sooo... bought some new front door speakerss

Im off to university in September mate so i need the money to sort things out before i go there and i wont be needing it atall when i go there so as much as i dont want to let it go i cant justify paying for tax & insurance on a car ill barely be driving (n)

But after university ive already decided im getting a Civic Type-R EP3 in Milano Red as soon as i can afford it. I've wanted one for as long as theyve been out and when ive finsihed uni ill have 6 years NCB and ill be 23 so insurance wont bend me over and give me a hiding either!

hi again dude only 16 so don't know much but volunteered in a Honda garage... what can I say 2.0 V-TEC good choice in cars there dude!!!:slayer: two things go for an EP3 (99-06) as don't know what Honda were dong with the FN2 (07-12) and the suspension was a let down don't know what the japs were releasing the FN as they did
if it is an EP as long as it is serviced the millage dont really matter just the body work with a V-TEC and just check rear anti roll bars on an EP3 as they do rust and corroded and spit common fault easy obs as I did many off these on a saturday morning easy job!! highly recommend though to upgrade this !!!
