General engine type

I know this probably sounds stupid but how do you know if your 1.9JTD engine is a 105 or a 110 hp cant seem to find this info anywhere my Marea is a 2002 may model any help thanbkfully received Johnny:worship:

generally the '99 launch cars were 105's,
by the time they got to 2001 they were 110,
pretty sure the later ones were 115, but not 100% on that,

ok sorry, seriously, check the metal plate at the front of the car, visible when you open the bonnet, it will have all kinds of letters and numbers stamped onto it, look at the engine number, mine for example is 182.A7.000 which (i assume) corresponds to the TD100, obviously, if i'm talking out my arse, someone please feel free to correct me
either way, post the engine number here, and we'll ask google for you

um not quite sure about that last sentence you wrote there charlie, but according to wikipedia, the Alpha 156 was the first application for this engine, 1997.

I didn't know owt about the rarity of the marea until last year when I read the FIATS own "innovators in engines" page when researching my twin-air purchase,
THE FIAT page seemed to say the Marea 105JTD was the worlds 1st..??

anyway the link you sent did seem to back up the change to 110 BHP in 2001.!!, ( in alfa's)

I think its safe to say it will be a 110 if its a 2002 model.
