Engine trouble, ticking noise and warning light

Hi got 2 problems with my car, someone could hopefully help me with.

Car: Bravo 1,6
168.000 km ( lol no idea how many miles that is)

First problem:
Started making a ticking noise from engine. Noise goes faster the more revs the engine gets. Still ticking noise when just ideling also.
Noise seem to be comming from around the area of the inlet manifold, well, somewhere around there.
Noise seems less loud after long drives.

second problem.
Oil warning light has started to flicker. Checked oil etc, everything is fine. So thought oil pump might not delevering enough pressure.

Anyone got some ideas what i can try, before taking car to fiat for the 9999999 time. Car starting to cost me more than a brand new car would

oh yeah, got my down pipe changed not to long ago, might have something to do with that maybe?

Get it to a garage IMMEDIATELY!!!

The ticking will be the tappets most likely due to low oil pressure or it could be a shot main/big end bearing.

Either way the engine is not happy.

Cambelt

Mine was making that noise, had oil changed, checked everything. Yesterday the cam belt sheared! I think perhaps there was a relationship.

I'd get it checked.
