Hey guys, just wondering, would it be possible/simple enough to put a 1.4 sporting engine into a 1.2 8V mk2b (5 dr btw) or would this not be worth it?

1.4 16v engine with other items you need probably ~£500
Plus 1/2 a days work if you do it yourself, maybe 5-6 hours labour from a garage.
Plus mapping £200.

yes but why not get more power for a similar price?

yes but why not get more power for a similar price?

a lot more work is required to put a coupe engine in a punto, will cost you a lot more in labour. plus a 15 year old engine isn't going to be all that reliable.

engine swaps are expensive full stop really...
