engine struggling

Im having a problem with my engine struggling as if its trying to cut out every time i put the clutch in. Had diagnostic said lamda sensor wasnt working properly but replaced that and I still have the problem. Thought it could be the timing set wrong after cam belt changed? I'ts a bravo 1.6 16v 97. Any ideas?

How old are the plugs and how does it work on idle ?

Did it start behaving badly right after the cambelt change?

plugs are new, tried that. yea it is worst on idle and yea only been like it after the change it was fine before.

was it doing it from the second you picked it up from having the cam belt changed??

the same happened to a friend of mine. i think in the end it was a phase semsor wasnt cleaned when the belts were changed.

The sensors don't need cleaning.

The belt has been put on incorrectly, take it back.
