General Engine Soundproofing

Hi,
New Poster here...

My wife has just picked up her new Punto..(1.2 Easy with Brio Pack).
The question is have they done away with the soundproofing at the back of the engine, where it should be is just undercoat now. Doesn't look like any one has taken it off because everything fixed to the bulkhead looks new and like it was fitted at the factory.
By the way my sons Punto Evo (61 reg) has the soundproofing, this is how I thought something was missing.

I'm guessing its a cost saving effort (and possibly for economy by reducing weight) on fiats part !
as my 2012 pop doesn't have any under the bonnet either

My 2012 1.4 Easy has bulkhead soundproofing but it didn't have under bonnet insulation.






I bought one and fitted it for looks if nothing else.

My 2012 pop is the same no soundproofing proofing on the bulk head
I vaguely remember i had some on my 2007 dynamic though ?
