I have a 1.9 Scudo van diesel 2006.
I’ve just recently had a pully replaced as the engine belt and all was going well for two weeks. Then on a run home the engine started running loud. At first I thought it was the exhaust but on lifting the engine it sounds like a loud tappet noise. The yellow engine light comes on every now and again but I’ve lost no power and starts ok. Could this be anything to do with the workmanship of replacing the pully and belt or is this just conincidetial.
Any ideas please as been a good runner and don’t want to scrap. Oil level is good although is due an oil change.
