Hi Team, did any one of you lads had issues with rough idling after severe overheating, the codes I could pull were P0101 and P0105, both related to the MAP/MAS sensor , I have cleaned it and its contacts no change in symptoms, plus It's impossible to drive when the engine light illuminates it limps so bad that it does not rev up AT All! when it starts cold it immemiately triggers P0101, untill you attempt driving then it pops up P0105, (resetting them every time)
back story tomorrow 2 weeks ago it just pushed out the welch plug at the belt side amd I have no idea how far i ran it, what I noticed is that when it idle the oil dummy light came on but as it reved up the light went out, then I drove it for a couple of km's keeping revs up so the oil light would stay off then i herd the dreaded knocking sound an immediately switched of the engine , whem I opened the cooland bottle to check there was NO liquid which was mind boggling, so I took my bottle of antifreeze and chucked it in just to run out after the liquid found its way through the pipes onto the floor, only then realising it overheated, keeping in mind the plastic temp sensor housing and no coolant to show any signs of over heating,
Also sorry for the erros in this I am having a bit of Fiat owners fatigue
Fiat panda 169 Trekking
almost 170 000 km's
PS tomorrow I will run checks to confirm if it's not a cracked intake,
thanks all of you Lads are excellent at advice
