Technical Engine Oil Punto 1.2 8v 75

Hello!
I have to replace the engine oil of my 75
the oil that is recommended is selenia petrol 10w40

This is synth based, but I want to put a full synth

I can put Shell helix ultra 5w40 full synt

or selenia 5w40 full synth

why do you want to use fully synth though? why not stick to the recommended oil spec.

Becouse i found it at the same price and i think that can reduce fuel consuption and reduce usury

No reason you can't use the Helix, but it is over specified. It's a little thinner, so you may actually use more of it.

Incidentally, you mean oil consumption, I think, usury = la usura, nel senso di interesse.

its not going to benefit the engine at all in terms of wear. I doubt it will do any harm but i persoanlly would just go for the manufactuers recommendations.

Any changes in fuel consumption will not be measurable from just changing the oil to fully synth stuff - just keep it well maintained, as per the fiat service intervals, feel free to shorten the schedules it will do no harm but in the long run you will be spending more on servicing than you are saving in fuel etc.

But don't forget the things that are often forgotten, fuel filters are serviceable items for example but i swear every fiat i ever look at has its original from factory filter still fitted regardless of age and service history.
