there is people in there all i asked was where the clutch bite was on the pedal some thing i thought anyone of them could answer but no one replied. I've stuck it in a mates garage now for a good check over as its too cold out there for me to mess about, he hasn't rang with any problems so i reckon its just me been driving autos too long and clutch is fine.
Well this is far from straightforward for our 1.9/2.4 diesels. I have been told to use 5w/40 fully Synth by both my local Fiat main dealer & an Alfa/Fiat specialist, also as per the cars handbook. So far I found only 1 suitable 5w/40 low ash C3 rated oil, from Eurocar Parts, its Tripple XQ designed for the VW PD engines.
Many oil producers sites now suggest using a 5w/30 oil instead. So what oil is everyone else now putting in their diesel Croma's ?
I used Castrol Edge Turbo Diesel 5W40, C3 for about 5 years in my 1,9jtd.
But because of the removed catalyst, there's no need for a low ash oil anymore, so I currently use Castrol Edge 0W40 A3/B4.
