Technical engine managment light and turbo

Hi i have a ullysee 2004 2.0 jtd the engine management light and/or a message sayin antipollution unit failure also the turbo is intermittent and doesnt cut in while about 3500rpm i presume these problems are all related in some way !!! can any one help plz ???

ive just had exactly the same issue with my ulysse, and just got a resolve after months trying to figure it out ... replace the air mass sensor (Got one on ebay for 40 quid) it takes about 10 mins to fit, it just fits into the hose right above the compartment where the air filter is, fixes the anti pollution fault, the management light and turbo kicks in when it should rather than having to rev the hell out of it to get it to a good speed.

seems quiet common, lots of people have had this fault.
