Hi, after nearly ten months of good running the enginge management light of my 899cc Cinquecento sx has started to come on every so often, particulary on the over run. I don't think it is the head gasket (again) as there is no water loss or mayonaise in the filler cap and the heater is still working Ok on idle! Can any of you Tech Heads suggest what else it could be and give me the order of likelehood for these faults.

Thankyou

Sounds like could be map sensor fault, poss also lambda fault.

A code read/diagnostic isnt that expensive. 30-40 you are possibly looking at at an independent. IIRC fiat dealers are a bit more in terms of price.

Hopefully fault can be discovered via that method but i would say its a sensor problem as well

Thanks for your help, I will get a ECU code test at the local Fiat dealer so I only replace the bit needed!

Thanks again
