Technical Engine management light

Hi everyone I've got a 2004 ducato jtd, with the engine management light on and the glow plug light flashing. Any ideas what might be the problem. Thanks

You would need to connect a code reader to see what the problem is, it could be the RELAY that delivers the power to the glow plugs.

Which engine is fitted? The 2.8jtd does not use glowplugs, while the 2.3jtd does.
