My van Conversion is based on the Citroen Relay badged version of the ducato .......No Biggie this but ..... When I start her up from cold the EML lights up & stays on I immediately turn her off & re-start & everything is Fine......

I aint "Falling Over worried" about this but it does puzzle me somewhat .. anyone elses 'van do this ... Oh!!! No fault codes listed after checking ...

A capacitor in the ECU provides a timing phase called " power-on clear" to make sure the microprocessor can properly start. Your device has a small flaw, the timing is too short at low temperatures. Only replacing the ECU solves the issue, but I guess you can live with it.
 
Super-cool CDK ... THANK YOU very much for your post I have had in the past a similar problem with my Scania R420 (my other "Motorhome" LOL) Scania UK said roughly the same "ECU capacitor fault" not cost effective to change the whole ECU to repair... just "Live with it" ...
