I have a question, I had the head rebuilt on my 1977 Spider, it has been installed but now I find out the number three cylinder hole is stripped. Is there a way to fix this without removing the head again?

i guess you mean the cylinder liner is damaged, i would replace it and also replace the piston ring.

you could drop the sump, then the crank, and then the piston.
