Technical Engine fault.!

Have a stilo 1.6 16v, flashes engine fault on start up and stays on, car been on diagnostic and nothing found no codes logged. car starts fine, runs smoothly but when you dip the throttle, for a split second dies and sounds barky, the emissions are fine, does anyone have any other suggestions or advice, much appreciation Nick

hi i have a 1.9 8v 115 jtd i had an engine fault light and others it turned out to be damp under the battery cover fuse board cleaned it up dried it all out working fine now..................
you could also try the d4 connector behind the fuse board inside the car if they are in the same place as mine.

they do cause a load of strange electrical errors...
