Technical Engine ECU Diagnostic Port Location

Hi, I have a 1999 Barchetta and am trying to locate the engine ECU diagnostic port.

I have found the airbag port ( under the dash on passenger side) and the ABS port ( alongside the ABS block)

However, I cannot find the port for the engine ECU.

I have watched a couple of uTube videos that show it either in front of the battery or behind a panel alongside the ECU in the passenger footwell.

I have checked both positions with no luck, in fact I have not found the engine ECU. It is not in the passenger footwell although there are studs on the body that look as if something could be fitted to them

Has anybody got any idea where I might look next please?

Success, I have finally found the port.

It is located on the bulkhead under the bonnet. It is under a black cover centrally on the bulkhead behind the engine.
