Engine Coolant help, Punto 1.2 2001 8v.

Hi, I recently bought some "engine coolant" that prevents freezing, corrosion and over heating. I have looked online and it appears from what I have seen that there is some sort of coolant pipe? I can only see the radiator pipe where I put water inside. That might sound stupid I know but I am just wondering as I dont want to mess anything up. I also understand that you can not mix blue and pink/red coolants together as the one I have bought is blue and was wondering if this one would work for my 1.2 Punto,2001 8v? Sorry if it sounds stupid but I just dont want to mess anything up! Thanks in advance!

Some coolants can mix look on the bottle you bought for guidance but you are correct in not mixing
Its hard to help here because with the age of your car anything might have been added since new
ignore coolant pipe it would seem meaningless for what you need to do
remember not to take radiator cap off if engine warm as system runs under pressure so water can be above boiling point (boils law)
