Hi guys. First Post can anyone please advise me on an engine change. I have a 2011 Ducato 35 2.3 multijet 120D, with a blown engine. Looking for a replacement as I really don't want to get rid of Trev. I have seen lots of engines but they have a slightly different code to mine. I have an F1AE0481D euro 4, could I fit an F1AE3481D euro 5 or 6 into my van without changing gearboxes etc or is this a very bad idea. Any input greatly appreciated or any ideas where I can get an engine to fit without taking out a 2nd mortgage. Thanks in advance. Tina

Not sure where you are, but a quick look on ebay.co.uk came up with several engines,
one in UK (Darlington), the others in the EU.
Try a search with ' FIAT Ducato F1AE3481D engine' and you will get a few results.

Alternate is try phoning around a few scrap yards who might be able to help.

Thanks for the reply. Do you think a F1AE3481D would fit? I have found a few engines but none match up with my F1AE0481D code, that's the bit that worries me. ☹😉

Have a look at: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255419404221?epid=17022744146&hash=item3b782ecfbd:g:p1AAAOSw9ItiI0~Q
which is a F1AE0481D engine. This 'should' be the same engine that you have. Maybe worth speaking to them to confirm.
I suspect the F1AE3481D engine might be identical but with different power output but again 'should' fit but might need a software
re-write to the ECU.
Someone on here might know better than me if the engines are compatible.
