Technical Engine change?

Hi and greetz from Croatia. I have Marea 1.6 16V (98) first owner and now I'm planing now to put in the engine of Marea 2.4 JTD for
the first move. Can somebody tell me what elese I must change with engine? Men which will sell me the engine doesn't have gearbox.
Can I for some time drive with gearbox of 1.6?

Hi and welcome to the forum

You will have to change all the engine management equipment as well as the ignition barrel. The exhaust will need modifying as well. Not sure about the g/box.
