Hi everyone,

Do somebody knows what it means the sound on the next video?

My bravo sounds exactly like that and i think that is no good.

Thanks for all your help

Sounds like you have a belt touching something while rotating or bearing...Did you replace the belt with tensioner? Also I must say that it sounds very rough. What kind of oil are you using?
Mine is running like this (check the video-we have 0 Celsius and it was a cold start, I waited a minute for the rpm to go down to normal)

Hi everyone. Thanks for your comments.

The belt was changed like 2 months ago with the tensioner. Maybe some bearing was hitting in that time, i don't know...i will look for something wrong during weekend and if i found something i will post it.

Thanks again

My t-jet makes the same noise as this.
Its made it for the last 30000 miles and I am yet to find it.
Its to do with the belts. Either its too tight or one of the bearings have gone somewhere.
I know my aircon pump is on the way out as it is very noisy when ran and almost 'crunches'

I had (and still have) a similar issue after replacing belt, tensioners and water pump. Have you used OEM ones or aftermarket? I put SKF and the sound appeared about a month or so after replacing. Had the car checked twice and all is perfect, they told me sometimes the profile of the belt is different and may cause a little whistle.

EDIT: after re-watching the video - I have a whistle and you have some faint ticking sound. I am not an expert but I wouldn't worry about a sound like that.

I agree with mr. Lyubohar as that sounds as if the belt is touching somewhere.
My father had similar noise on the cover of the belt at Opel Astra after the belt and tensioners were replaced and he took it back to the mechanic and demanded that they reassemble everything and the plastic cover was touching the belt due to improper assembly. They replaced everything and the noise was gone. But at first they said that nothing was wrong and tried to make him go away. A fuel for my father :) who knows a few things about mechanics.

If any of 2 belts arent touching plsstic housing, its typical water pump noise. You can hear it on old or new cheap pumps or when cambelt tensioner is too tight

Jadasme, any updates? I have exactly the same sound. Its more pronounced up till 2000rpm. There after, it goes away or becomes inaudible.

At 2000rpm, sounds and like running water from within the cabin.

Noise from engine bay
Engine noise: [ame]http://youtu.be/1TYhlwddvB4[/ame]

Noise from cabin (may need earphones with higher volume)
Engine noise: [ame]http://youtu.be/Gmf3atK6-yk[/ame]

Hope to eliminate it too.

I had my water pump replaced. No improvements. Replacing water pump would mean remounting timing belt.

Oil pressure is good.
Baffled.
