General engine blocks

are the punto 60 and punto 75 engin blocks the same if not which has most power?

The blocks are the same I believe...the difference in power is due to different exhaust manifolds, more injectors on the 75, different cam (except for the later 60's) and probably something else I have forgotten.

I believe the 60,75,and 85 units all use the same 1242 block, the differences are in the heads, cams and fuel injection. 60 (58bhp) 8v, Single point injection, fairly poor cams, 75 (73bhp) 8v, multipoint fuel injection and hotter cams, 85 (86bhp) multipoint fuel injection, totally different head to accommodate 16v
