Hi everybody, just bought a 06 doblo 1.3 multijet with broke timing chain.Anyone know what damage do to engine. Pays off to fixed or needs new engine.

The 1.3 is an interference engine, which means the valves will smack the pistons in a chain off incident.
Repairs mean head off, check for damage to pistons, valves and in extreme cases, the crank shaft!
The rebuild would involve gasket sets, valves, possibly pistons and shell bearings, as well as new oil, filters, coolant, chain set and so on.
I would rather look for an engine from a smashed van/car and simply replace the chain set, oil, filters, coolant etc. You could save a considerable amount of time and money.
But insist on hearing the engine running before parting with your hard earned

Possibly.
The block should be standard, but there may be some slight differences.
Best to compare them side by side and take bits from your engine to the new engine.
However, I think it should fine as the face lift models came in around 2010.

The ECU shouldn't matter, it's married to the car. As long as the engine wiring loom is the same it should work the same...
Although, I did fit a 2004 engine into a 2000 Renault Espace and although the looms were the same, there was different injectors and such so I simply swapped the parts from the original engine onto the newer engine and all was well. Although it did hold me up by three hours

Doesn't usually do that much damage, replace the followers and your good to go, that said the labour charges aren't much better.
