hello there just joined,im not much of a fiat fan to be honest although ive just bought a fiat punto for the wife from my brother i,ll be picking it up in a week or two.
its not with out its problems (engine trouble) i did drive it last week just to check it out.
the engine is rapping its nackers off(top end) has a bit of trouble pulling off when cold.
and if you try and give some acceleration say around 30/40mph it doesnt want to know its like somethings restricting the engine.
my brother hasnt had it long but said its gradually got worse also not his doing but the cambelt covers hacked in an attempt to remove by a previous owner
my brother seems to think that a valve might be bent hoping hope you people kind help me out.

first one was a miarifiori how ever you spell it.
the next one going back again. was a small fiat hatchback think it was a sporty limited edition very fast little car in its day had a bhp badge on grille
cant remember what model.
