The other night I was cruising at 55MPH on a dual carrigeway in the sleet and I hit the accelerator and the car went dead. Got top the side of the road and the engine wouldnt turn over at all, like something had siezed. The funny part was the police arrived and had a picture perfect face when some car swiped the side of his car and took his mirror with him. Better him then me
Anyways got it to the garage and we had a look and after playing around and the computer showing every fault under the sun we found fuse 18 had blown on the engine bay fuse box and after replacing this she burst into life again. The fuse in the manual is listed 'Electronic injection control unit +30 direct battery positive (not key operated)'. I cant find anymore information on this and why a 7.5Amp fuse would have blown, shes working fine at the moment but could anyone shed any light on this as i'm guessing it could happen again!
