Severe issues with my 2010 ducato. 3.0 diesel

First it was just sitting in my yard. Then suddenly windshield washer pump started running. It kept running until i took battery cable out.

Few days later I charged battery and hook it up. On the evening i heard some high tone beep/ squeek in engine bay (i think maybe electric throttle body) and i notice that some of the instrument cluster was on (the info screen and its back light)

Seems like it wont go to sleep. It has been raining quite a lot.

The x250 model is notorious for water ingress into the engine bay.

I believe that member @the green vanper has reported reading about rainwater tracking into the body computer via the cable harness.

There is also the problem of cable form abrasion against a frame member under the LHS headlight, This may be referred to as "rusty junction" and has been publicised by @Reg 65.

There have been a number of cases like this, if you search for "gremlins" and "haunted" on this forum, a recent one was traced to a waterlogged connector, others to a bad BCM.
