Technical Electric window switch

The passenger electric window switch works backwards but works correctly on the drivers side. Tried switching the wires over at the window regulator the passenger switch wwill work correctly but the drivers side then works in rreverse.is this an easy fix

May not be relevant, but I had a Citroen Pluriel that after battery disconnect the windows would work erratically, at the end of the day the window switches each had to be told to go up and then held in that position for so many seconds and then told to go down and held again. This told the computer the correct settings.
Something to do with the motors being reversible so only have two wires and no earth, the computer gives the correct feed for up or down.
Maybe another Forum member will have more information.
