Hi there fellow frog lovers :)
I've just noticed my electric windows work when the key is out of the ignition... I was certain this was never the case until now.
Have I a stuck relay or am I going mad and this is how it's supposed to be????
Just back from a round trip with the family Ireland to France towing a trailer and a roof box all loaded up multi style.
Had the middle seats front and back out for the journey.
It was great.

Cheers
Mart

You're not going mad, you are already mad , just by owning a multipla , like the rest of us headcases !
Seriously it will be a relay problem most likely, you should find the relays under the front central plastic footwell cover.
Mine has a mirror issue at the moment, they open and shut all by themselves.LOL

Cheers For the reply.
I have an update tho.. They only work after I switch off the ignition and remain in the car... If I open and close the door I can then no longer use the windows( until I turn the key again)
Is it possible it's a function to allow you down the windows a tad before you get out????
Can someone try theirs??... Remove key and see if windows still operate before you open the door
Cheers
Marty

No, its to allow you to put them up, its always been there, you've just never noticed it before hand.

All modern Fiats do it (y)

Its until you open a door, or up to 3-4 mins, which ever is later. At night the window switch lights will remain illuminated while you can operate the windows and then go off when either of the above has occurred.
