Panda Cross 4x4 TwinAir 2016 with stop/start - I am fairly certain I need an 027 battery but do I need EFB or AGM please? I didn't even realise there were two types of stop/start battery!
Have a look in the Palio section of this forum where there is discussion regarding the linkage getting jammed by pieces of the gearbox top up cap? I don't know but if Palio is Panda based there is also a bush under the battery box on top of the gearbox that corrodes and seizes (there is a thread in this, Panda, section that covers that - good luck!Hi hope you can help i have a 2003 fiat palio 1.2 but it doesn't want to go into thrid gear the previous owners talked about a linkage
No programming neededOriginal EFB battery (Exide 60Ah, 600A) died in almost 7 years. New Exide EFB (60Ah, 640A) cost approx 120 after discount. AGM (Bosch) is approx 80,-EUR more, I dont think its worth it.
Any idea if I need to program new battery after change?? There is none such option inside MES (Panda 2019 1,2 EURO6 S&S).
Thanks
Not necessary for Panda. It only erase trip data and radio settings when disconnected what I remember from last time. And if the battery is somehow "self-programming" isn it needed to disconnect the old one??Use this and a small spare battery, and you'll be fine.

Yep; battery can be disconnected and a new one reconnected at will. (OEM) radio is not coded as such, but as @Diwiak notes you will lose the programmed channels. Not necessary for Panda.
