just bought a fault finder to plug in to the ecu on a panda 2010 but cant find were inside the connection is to plug it into any ideas?

There is a cover that is screwed down (two screws from memory) just right of the steering wheel. Remove that and you will see the connector plus fuses and relays. (assuming is right hand drive!)

This picture shows where it is on a LHD car, but you will be able to work it out if yours is RHD
