HI, all need some help with this car,i own a punto grande 1.3 td 6speed manual 06, after a shopping trip car would not start all lights come on on the dash but would not turn over ,then i notice a lock symbol like the immobilizer had come on,garage now says the ECU is faulty and cannot be repaired, can any member help me with any ideas or how to replace it.

Which ECU- Engine, or Body Computer?

What error codes did they get out of it?

Did you try a spare key?

Battery condition? Just because it's able to light up a few LED bulbs, doesn't mean it's got the huge number of amps to get the starter motor turning.

its the body ,but had it check, and they said no faults, just going to refit this unit, and hope the car runs, ive been told it might be the receiving collour ,but dnt know where this part is located
