Hi,just got my KKL cable to access my croma's ECU,but I can't figure out how to lower serial latency levels on vista.The ports subset doesn't appear in device manager so I don't know how to reconfigure the com port.Can anyone help?

You need to open Device Manager (Start/Control Panel/Device Manager OR Start and enter Device Manager in the search field) and then select "Ports" and then "USB Serial Port". Double click on this item. Then select "Port Settings" tabe and then the "Advanced" button - look for MB Options - Latency Timer

Thanks for your reply but the problem is that "ports" do not show up in device manager on my laptop(vista home premium),therefore I can't get to reconfigure the port.Does anyone have this Fiatscan software configured on vista?Thanx in advance.

I have Vista Home Premium and ports DO show up.

1) ensure you are logged in on an administrator account
2) ensure device is actually plugged in otherwise ports will not show

Ah! thanks Nick,I didn't realise you had to have device plugged in.
