Well, at last my 2.2JTD has been transformed!
I took it down today to see Nige at Angel Tuning, the original map already been scanned a week or two ago.
First things first - trying out the car as standard.
According to Fiat, the standard car is as follows - 128bhp, 0-62 12.6 seconds. Nige took full 'control' [in a loose sense, no, only kidding], and please note, all times were done whilst raining on WET ROADS. He managed 0-60 in just under 13 seconds [12.99], so our standard had been set. Also did a few quarter mile tests, and came out with 19.89 secs, speed 67.9mph.
First map now installed

. Just pulling out of the close, the difference was immense - same tests done as before, 0-60 down to 10.84, quarter mile 19.01 secs at 72.8mph.
Now the fun one - the 'mad Italian' map

. 0-60 now sub 10 seconds, at 9.91, quarter mile 18.09 secs at 76.9mph.
Phenomenal - my turn for a 15 mile trip didn't come quick enough. Involved most types of roads, including a short sprint up the M40 - 3rd lane at 110mph and still pulling, Nige did say slow down - lol. Traffic was semi-heavy, so point taken! As we went down some country lanes, a few overtaking points came up - torque was immense, the car now driven unlike a diesel but as a petrol - the car just wants to keep pulling.....
Overall, totally impressed with the quality and service given to me. If it hadn't been for quite appalling conditions, times would have come down, probably by a second.
The car is probably now about 165 bhp, but this isn't everything. I intend to take it onto a proper rolling road [or whatever it is called, Nige can enlighten us] for proper data.
The whole drivebility of what was a very driveable car has increased. I definitely enjoyed the drive home!!! Highly recommended - will also keep you informed, like John K, about any further updates
