Hi everyone.
In line with many I'm having engine failure problems.
My stilo came up with an engine fault light & immediately a vibration was sent through the cabin (out-of-balance engine?) & then the car started slowing down - max. 2500 rpm & hardly enough power to get up the slightest hill. Since, a coil has been changed & the throttle body cleaned out but the problem persists! I've been told the ECU will not re-set (Bosch/Marelli specialist).
Question - is the ECU at fault or is this a commonly known fault that the ECU is registering & putting the car into safe mode ? Can it be re-set if it is the ECU & is there a relatively cheap way of achieving it, if this is the problem. Help very much appreciated !
