Hi to all

I want to re-map my Grande Punto 1.4 16 valve 95 BHP with the infamous Bosch unreadable ECU. Angel tuning say that they can re-map it but would need to solder the ECU. Obviously I do not want to touch my ECU. I have found an identical ecu at a breaker and my idea is to do the Angeltuning re-map on it and than just swap the ecu on the car. Would I need to do something about the keycode? I mean since I am keeping my original key and original immobilizer than the car should start and work normally.
Any opinions?

If on the other hand I need to recode something for example recode the ECU does anyone know who can do it?

Thanks

Ask them to remove the immobilizer from the new ecu or put it on a virgin state so you can reprogram your key.

Ecu pcb modding is not something crazy they do it that way on many bosch/marelli ecus. The problem is that starjet 95hp engine will gain minimal power like 5hp at crank without any other mod.

Do you think it's worth the money for the remap?
